The reason for this will be axiomatic if you read above. Go ahead and buy all of the long-term items such as appliances, automobiles, etc. Your money won't be worth much in the long-term. Don't borrow money from a bank (or anyone else) in order to buy things. The banks get mean when the banks need money. Instead, if you are so blessed, loan the money to yourself via your 401k. If that isn't possible, then cancel your cable. In 10 months you can buy a refrigerator.
